Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Participants must hold a valid Multi-Entry Schengen visa throughout the entire tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa requirements.)
  • Allowed: To make purchases and spend in all countries visited during the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In areas using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: During the trip, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings.
  • Allowed: On our weekly tours, daily seat rotation is applied; fixed seats or front seats are not guaranteed. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: To bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, you must stay at least 1 day abroad.

  • Allowed: The Travel Assurance Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage. It cannot be added later. It provides the guest with an unconditional and penalty-free cancellation right up to 7 days before the travel date. If not used, no refund is given. If the cancellation assurance package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour. If fewer than 30 days remain until the tour date, a 30% penalty applies, and if 20 days or fewer remain, a 100% penalty applies. Documents submitted by the participant with the cancellation request, such as hospital reports or work permits from authorities in Turkey, are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services outside of Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum of 25 participants. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour departure. TURLAGO will inform about tours canceled due to insufficient participation.
  • Allowed: In cases where only category information is provided without specifying a hotel name and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified. In such cases, TURLAGO will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are available depending on hotel availability, and in such rooms, the bed allocated for the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed plus one extra bed. Since extra beds are pull-out or coach beds, the tour participant is deemed to have accepted the potential crowding in the room and the type of bed for third person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply for one child (of the appropriate age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: Breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are offered with a limited menu consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, in line with the breakfast culture of the country and generally referred to as continental breakfast. They may be served in a separate room allocated for the group.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, conducted panoramically from inside the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. TURLAGO is not responsible for the inability to conduct such tours, including other tours mentioned in the program, if they cannot take place due to closure of roads, sites not being open for visitation by local authorities, any events, or adverse weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted using public transportation or on foot, where possible, at points with closed roads or no vehicle access.
  • Allowed: During the journey, waiting times at land border gates may exceed standards; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by such waiting times.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are organized by the local TURLAGO service provider with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not met, tours may not be conducted, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary according to the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide based on whether museums and ancient sites at the destinations are open or closed, as well as weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours organized during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the drop-off point after the tour is completed.
  • Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for participants of flight-inclusive tours are personal transactions and must be carried out by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online on the airline's website before the flight.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for the inability to board the flight of individuals who are not present at the specified airport at the designated time announced by TURLAGO, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who have completed check-in and boarding but do not board the plane. The costs for new round-trip air tickets required for those who miss the flight to join the tour, as well as all transportation expenses to and from the destination, shall be borne by the passenger.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There is a risk of delay on scheduled and chartered flights, or times may change before the scheduled tour and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the tour by accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
  • Allowed: Vehicle types used on our tours are classified according to the number of people as follows. Based on the number of participants in each tour, the vehicle types below are assigned.
