Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Our participants must have a Multi-Entry Schengen visa valid for the duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from a visa.)
  • Allowed: For shopping and expenses in all countries on the program during the tour, it is sufficient to carry Euros. In countries using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended during the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
  • Allowed: For weekly tours, seat rotation is implemented daily; fixed seats or front seats are not guaranteed. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: For bringing goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, a minimum stay of 1 day is required.
  • Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter containing more than 22% alcohol (excluding wine and champagne), 2 liters containing less than 22% alcohol (including wine and champagne); Perfume: 600 ml; Cosmetics or skincare products: 5 units; Chocolate and confectionery: 2 kg; Coffee: 1 kg; Tea: 1 kg.
  • Allowed: Depending on weather and road conditions, guides may modify the program schedule provided that all locations mentioned in the program are shown.
  • Allowed: The Travel Assurance Package can only be added during the purchase stage and cannot be added later. It provides the guest with an unconditional and full refund right up to 7 days before the travel date. No refund is provided if the package is not used. If the cancellation assurance package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour. If the tour date is less than 30 days away, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Documents such as hospital reports from medical authorities in Turkey, workplace permission letters, etc., presented with the participant's cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellation of hotels and services outside of Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation requirement of 25 people. If sufficient participation for the trip is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour date. A tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be announced by TURLAGO.
  • Allowed: In cases where the tour program specifies only the category without naming the hotel, and/or offers options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the start of the trip.
  • Allowed: During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the stated kilometers. In such a case, information will be provided by TURLAGO 15 days before the tour departure date.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed plus one extra bed. Since the extra beds are pull-out or coach beds, tour participants acknowledge and accept possible crowding and the bed type for third-person and/or child reservations. Child discounts apply only for one child (within the age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: Among the included services in the tour program, breakfasts at hotels are served according to the breakfast culture of the country, typically as a continental breakfast consisting of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate dining area allocated for the group.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for general city introduction, conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include entrance to museums or archaeological sites, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours. Panoramic tours, including other specified tours, are not the responsibility of TURLAGO if they cannot take place due to closure of roads by local authorities, events, or weather conditions making the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted on foot or by public transport where roads are closed or vehicle entry is not permitted.
  • Allowed: During travel, waiting times at customs gates passed by road may exceed standards; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting times.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are organized by the local TURLAGO from which we receive services with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not met, tours cannot be conducted or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles used may vary depending on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and ruins at the destinations and weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours organized during the tour are deemed to accept waiting at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the rest facility before the extra tour starts and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
  • Allowed: For passengers participating in tours with flights, the check-in and boarding procedures are personal matters and must be carried out by the guest prior to the flight at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online via the airline's website.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for individuals who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified by TURLAGO for tour participation, who do not complete check-in and boarding on time, or who complete check-in and boarding but fail to board the plane resulting in missed flights. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region required for such individuals to join the tour shall be borne by them.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is an intermediary institution between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. On scheduled and charter flights, there is a risk of delay, or timings for existing trips and flights may change. TURLAGO is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger has purchased the trip by accepting the risk of time changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and handling fees.
