Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Our participating guests must have a valid Multi-Entry Schengen visa for the duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa.)
  • Allowed: For shopping and spending in all countries on the tour itinerary, carrying Euros is sufficient. In areas using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended during the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings.
  • Allowed: In our weekly tours, a seat rotation system is applied daily; fixed seats or front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: To bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, an overnight stay of at least 1 day is required.
  • Allowed: When entering Turkey from abroad, the duty-free shopping limits are: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter for drinks containing more than 22% alcohol (excluding wine and champagne), Alcohol: 2 liters for drinks containing less than 22% alcohol(including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skincare Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
  • Allowed: Guides may make changes to the tour itinerary as necessary due to weather and road conditions, provided that all places specified in the program are visited.
  • Allowed: Travel Guarantee Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage. It cannot be added later. It provides the guest with an unconditional, cancellation-free right up to 7 days before the travel date. No refund is given if not used. If the cancellation guarantee package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days in advance. If there are less than 30 days to the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less, a 100% penalty applies. Documents such as hospital reports from Turkish authorities, employer permission letters, etc., submitted with the participant's cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotel bookings and services outside Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. In case of tour cancellation due to insufficient participation, it will be announced by TURLAGO.
  • Allowed: In cases where the tour program provides only category information without specifying a hotel name, and/or when multiple options are available for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than those specified. In such a case, TURLAGO will inform guests 15 days before the tour departure date.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to availability and the bed allocated for the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed plus one extra bed. Extra beds are rollaway beds and coach beds. By booking, the participant, third person, and/or children accept the potential tightness of the room and the type of bed. Child discounts apply only to one child (within age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: Hotel breakfasts included in the tour program are served according to the breakfast culture of the country, typically a continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate room designated for groups.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for general city introduction, lasting at most 2-3 hours, done from the vehicle with guide commentary and do not include museum or ruin entry fees. Panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the program, are subject to applicable days and times. If routes are closed due to local authorities prohibiting access or events, or if weather conditions make the tour impossible, TURLAGO is not responsible for the inability to conduct such tours. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted.
  • Allowed: Waiting times at customs crossing points by road may exceed standards during the journey. TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting times.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are organized by the local TURLAGO from which we receive services, subject to a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not met, tours cannot be conducted, or the prices, content, and vehicle used for extra tours may vary depending on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and hours of tours may be changed by the guide based on the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations, as well as weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join the extra tours arranged during the tour are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a roadside rest facility before the start of the extra tour and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
  • Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures required for passengers on flight-inclusive tours are personal transactions and must be carried out by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport prior to departure, or online via the airline's website.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for the inability of passengers who are not present at the designated airport at times specified by TURLAGO for participation, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete check-in and boarding but fail to board the flight. Any costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region necessary for these passengers to join the tour are their own responsibility.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. On scheduled and charter flights, there is a risk of delays, or timings may change prior to the tour and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the tour by accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay departure tax and airport service fees.
  • Allowed: The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified below according to passenger numbers. The vehicle type for each tour is determined based on the number of participants.
