Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Our guests must hold a valid Multi-Entry Schengen visa for the entire duration of the tour (Green passport holders are exempt from visa requirements).
  • Allowed: For shopping and expenses in all countries on the program, carrying Euros is sufficient. In areas using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended during the tour. It is advisable to bring a light jacket or similar clothing for the evening.
  • Allowed: On our weekly tours, seat rotation is applied daily, and no fixed seat or front seat guarantee is provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: To bring goods (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) into Turkey from abroad, a minimum stay of 1 night is required.
  • Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic beverages (with alcohol content over 22%, excluding wine and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic beverages (with alcohol content under 22%, including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skincare Products: 5 pieces, Chocolate and Confectionery: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.

  • Allowed: The Travel Guarantee Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage and cannot be added later. It gives the guest the right to cancel unconditionally without penalty up to 7 days before the travel date. It is non-refundable if not used. If the Cancellation Guarantee Package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge up to 30 days before the tour date. A 30% penalty applies if canceled less than 30 days before the tour date, and a 100% penalty applies if canceled 20 days or less before. Documents such as hospital reports obtained from relevant authorities in Turkey, work permission certificates, etc., submitted with a cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for the cancellation of accommodations and services outside of Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancelation notification date is 20 days before the tour start date. TURLAGO will announce the cancelation due to insufficient participation.
  • Allowed: In cases where only category information is provided without hotel names and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the departure of the tour.
  • Allowed: During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the stated kilometers. In such a case, TURLAGO will inform 15 days before the tour departure date.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and in such rooms, the bed assigned to the third person is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed + one additional bed. Since additional beds are rollaway beds or coach beds, the tour participant, by making a reservation for a third person and/or child, declares acceptance of potential crowding in the room and the type of bed. Child discounts apply only for one child (within the appropriate age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: Services included in the tour program, such as hotel breakfasts, are provided according to the breakfast culture of the country and generally consist of a limited menu of continental breakfast including butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate allocated room for groups.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are 2-3 hour tours conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary for a general introduction to cities, and do not include entrance fees to museums or archaeological sites. TURLAGO is not responsible if these tours, including other specified tours, cannot be held on the scheduled day and time due to closures by local authorities, road closures due to events, or adverse weather conditions making the tour impossible. Some tours may be conducted on foot or by public transport where roads are closed or vehicle access is prohibited.
  • Allowed: During travel, waiting times at border crossings by road may exceed standard duration; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such waiting times.
  • Allowed: Optional tours are organized by our local service provider TURLAGO with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the minimum number is not met, tours may not be conducted, or prices, itinerary, and vehicle type may vary depending on participant count. Additionally, tour days and times may be changed by the guide based on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites visited and weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Optional tours are at the participant's discretion and are not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join optional tours during the trip are deemed to accept waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the rest stop before the tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour concludes.
  • Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for flight-inclusive tours are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online via the airline's website before the flight.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for persons who fail to be present at the specified airport at the notified time, fail to check in and board on time, or who check in and board but do not board the aircraft, resulting in their inability to take the flight. All expenses for new round-trip tickets and transfers to join the tour for those who miss the flight are borne by themselves.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There is a risk of delays on scheduled and charter flights, and times may change before the tour and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the tour accepting the risk of schedule changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and service fees.
  • Allowed: The types of vehicles used in our tours are classified according to the number of passengers as follows. Depending on the number of passengers in each tour, the vehicle types below are assigned.
