Tour Rules

• Allowed: Our participating guests must have a valid Egyptian visa for the duration of the tour. Visa on arrival is available. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa.)
• Allowed: For shopping and spending in all countries included in the program during the tour, it is sufficient to carry US dollars. In areas where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
• Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended throughout the trip. It is advisable to bring a light jacket or similar clothing for the evenings.
• Not Allowed: In our weekly tours, seat rotation is applied daily for seat planning; fixed seats or front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
• Allowed: To bring goods (such as alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) when entering Turkey from abroad, there is a requirement of at least 1 day of accommodation.
• Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic beverages: 1 liter of spirits (over 22% alcohol, excluding wine and champagne); Alcoholic beverages: 2 liters of spirits (under 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne); Perfume: 600 ml; Makeup or skincare products: 5 items; Chocolate and candy: 2 kg; Coffee: 1 kg; Tea: 1 kg.
• Allowed: Guides may alter the program flow depending on weather and road conditions, provided that all locations mentioned in the itinerary are visited.
• Allowed: Guests who have registered for the tour have the right to free cancellation up to 30 days before departure. If less than 30 days remain before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Documents such as hospital reports from Turkish authorities or work leave certificates provided with the cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services outside of Turkey.
• Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start. The tour canceled due to insufficient participation will be notified by Turlago.
• Allowed: When the tour program provides only category information without specifying hotel names and/or offers options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by Turlago 2 days before the tour departure.
• Allowed: During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified kilometers. In such cases, Turlago will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
• Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed plus one extra bed. Since extra beds are made up of folding or rollaway beds, the third participant and/or child booking accepts the potential crowding and bed type. Child discounts are valid only for one child (within the applicable age group) staying with two adults.
• Allowed: The breakfasts included in the tour program are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country visited, generally as a continental breakfast consisting of a limited menu of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate room designated for the group.
• Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for the general introduction of cities, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. Panoramic tours are not held on the scheduled day and time due to closures by local authorities, closed roads due to any event, or impossible weather conditions regarding the impossibility of organizing such tours; Turlago is not responsible for these cases. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not allowed.
• Not Allowed: Waiting times at customs gates during road travel may exceed standards; EMC Tour cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from these waiting times.
• Allowed: Extra tours are organized by the local service provider with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not reached, the tours cannot be held, or extra tour prices, content, and the vehicle used may vary depending on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and hours of the tours may be changed by the guide according to the open/closed status of museums and archaeological sites at the destinations, as well as weather conditions.
• Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not compulsory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in the extra tours organized during the trip are considered to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at a rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
• Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for those participating in flight-included tours are personal transactions and must be carried out by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online via the airline's website prior to the flight.
• Not Allowed: Our company is not responsible for individuals who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified by Turlago for tour participation, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who do check-in and board on time but fail to board the aircraft. All expenses for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination area necessary for those who miss the flight to join the tour shall be borne by them.
• Allowed: Our company acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28 September 1955. Scheduled and charter flights may be subject to delay risks, and schedules may change before departure. EMC Tour is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger acknowledges the risk of schedule changes by purchasing the tour. Children aged 0-2 are exempt from airport taxes and service fees.
• Allowed: The vehicle types used in our tours are categorized according to the number of participants, as described below. The vehicle types are assigned based on the group size on each tour.
