Daily Tour Program

  1. Day 1
    After enjoying a free breakfast in Kavala and tasting the famous Kavala cookies, we continue our journey towards Thessaloniki. Upon arrival, we embark on a panoramic city tour, which includes the waterfront, White Tower, Rotunda, Trade Fair Square, Ottoman and Byzantine monuments, Greece's largest cathedral, Agios Dimitrios, the Alexander the Great statue, Hamza Bey Mosque, E. Venizelos and P. Kon
  2. Day 2
    After breakfast at the hotel, we have free time for the whole day. Guests who wish can join our optional full-day Kalkandelen – Ohrid Tour (including Ohrid Boat Tour, 50 Euro). Departing from the hotel by coach, our first stop is Kalkandelen, one of Macedonia's major cities with a predominantly Albanian population. Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Our participating guests must have a valid Multiple Entry Schengen visa for the duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa requirements.)
  • Allowed: To make purchases and expenses in all countries included in the program during the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In areas where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended throughout the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
  • Allowed: On our weekly tours, seat rotation (changing seats) is applied daily, and fixed seats or front seat guarantees are not provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum stay of 1 night is required to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
  • Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of spirits (over 22% alcohol, excluding wine and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks (under 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Candy: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg
  • Allowed: Guides may alter the program itinerary depending on weather and road conditions, provided all places mentioned in the program are shown.
  • Allowed: The Travel Protection Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage. It cannot be added later. It gives the guest the unconditional right to cancel without penalty up to 7 days before the travel date. No refund if unused. If the cancellation protection package is not purchased, guests have free cancellation rights up to 30 days before the tour. If less than 30 days remain, a 30% penalty applies; if 20 days or less remain, a 100% penalty applies. Documents submitted with a cancellation request, such as hospital reports from Turkish authorities or workplace permits, are unfortunately not accepted for the cancellation of hotels and services outside Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. A canceled tour due to insufficient participants will be notified by TURLAGO.
  • Allowed: If only category information is provided without naming hotels, or if options exist for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be notified by TURLAGO 2 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located at distances greater than the specified km. In such cases, TURLAGO will inform you 15 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated for the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed + 1 extra bed. Extra beds are of the foldable and coach bed type, so the third participant and/or child reservations are deemed to accept any tightness in the room and the bed type. Child discounts apply only to a single child (within the age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: The breakfasts included in the tour program and served at the hotel are provided according to the breakfast culture of the country and usually consist of a limited menu including butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, known as continental breakfast. They may be served in a separate room allocated for groups.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are 2-3 hour tours conducted for general city introduction, featuring guide narration from the vehicle and excluding museum or archaeological site entries. TURLAGO is not responsible if panoramic tours, including other tours specified in the itinerary, cannot be held on the scheduled day and time due to closures or restrictions by local authorities, road closures for events, or weather conditions making the tour impossible. Some tours might be conducted on foot or by public transport where possible, in cases of closed roads or vehicle access restrictions.
  • Allowed: Waiting times at customs gates during road travel may exceed standard durations. TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such waiting times.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are organized by the local TURLAGO service provider with a minimum participation of 20 persons. If sufficient numbers are not met, tours cannot be conducted, or prices, content, and vehicles used may vary based on participant count. Additionally, tour days and times may be changed by the guide depending on the opening/closing status of museums and archaeological sites at the destination, and weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are optional and voluntary. Passengers who choose not to participate in extra tours during the trip are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest area along the route. These passengers are dropped off at a rest area before the extra tour starts and picked up from the same point after the tour concludes.
  • Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities for participants of flight-inclusive tours. Guests are required to complete these at the airline counters at the airport or online via the airline's website before the flight.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the designated airport at the specified times, fail to complete check-in and boarding on time, or check-in and board but fail to board the flight. All expenses for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers to the destination incurred for re-joining the tour are the responsibility of the passenger missing the flight.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO serves as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There is a risk of delay for scheduled and charter flights, and hours may change before existing trips and flights. TURLAGO is obliged to inform of such changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of time changes by purchasing the trip. Children aged 0-2 do not pay the airport tax and service fees.
  • Allowed: The vehicle types used in our tours are classified according to the number of participants as follows. Based on the participant count in each tour, vehicle types are assigned as below.
