Tour Rules
- Allowed: Our participating guests must have a valid Multiple Entry Schengen visa throughout the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from the visa requirement.)
- Allowed: To make purchases and spend money in all countries included in the program during the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In regions where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
- Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended during the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
- Allowed: In our weekly tours, seat rotation is applied daily; no fixed seats or front seat guarantees are provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
- Allowed: When entering Turkey from abroad, a minimum of 1 night accommodation is required to bring items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
- Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey from abroad: Cigarettes: 3 cartons, Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of alcoholic drinks (drinks containing more than 22% alcohol, excluding wine and champagne), Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks (drinks containing less than 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne), Perfume: 600 ml, Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items, Chocolate and Candy: 2 kg, Coffee: 1 kg, Tea: 1 kg.
- Allowed: Depending on weather and road conditions, guides may make changes to the program flow, provided that all places mentioned in the program are shown.
- Allowed: Travel Guarantee Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage. It cannot be added later. It provides the guest with an unconditional, no-penalty cancellation right until 7 days before the travel date. There is no refund if unused. If the cancellation guarantee package is not purchased, guests have the right to cancel free of charge until 30 days before the tour. For cancellations within less than 30 days of the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; within 20 days or less, a 100% penalty applies. Unfortunately, documents such as hospital reports from Turkish authorities, work permits, etc., presented by participants with their cancellation requests are not accepted for cancellations of hotels and services outside Turkey.
- Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum of 25 participants. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the trip, the final cancellation notice date is 20 days before the tour departure. In case of cancellation due to insufficient participation, TURLAGO will notify accordingly.
- Allowed: In cases where the tour program does not specify a hotel name and only provides category information and/or offers options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the tour departure.
- Allowed: During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at a distance greater than the specified km. In such a case, TURLAGO will inform guests 15 days before the tour departure date.
- Allowed: Triple rooms are available subject to hotel availability, and the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed plus an extra bed. Since extra beds are foldaway or sofa beds, the participant is deemed to have accepted the possible congestion and bed type for third person and/or child reservations in triple rooms. Child discounts apply only to one child (within the appropriate age group) staying with two adults.
- Allowed: Included breakfasts at hotels are served in accordance with the breakfast culture of the country, typically as a continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for groups.
- Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are arranged for general city orientation, conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. Panoramic tours, including other tours mentioned in the program, may be conducted using public transportation or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not permitted. TURLAGO is not responsible for the cancellation of these tours if they are not feasible due to closures, events, or weather conditions on the specified day and time.
- Allowed: Waiting times at customs gates during road travel may exceed standard limits; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences caused by such waiting times.
- Allowed: Extra tours are organized by our local service provider TURLAGO with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, tours cannot be conducted or additional tour prices, content, and vehicles may vary depending on the number of participants. Additionally, tour days and times may be changed by the guide based on the open/closed status of museums and historical sites at the destinations and weather conditions.
- Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours during the trip are considered to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the rest stop before the extra tour begins and picked up from the same point after the tour is completed.
- Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for guided tours with flights are personal matters and must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online on the airline's website before the flight.
- Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for individuals who are not present at the specified airport at the times stated by TURLAGO for tour participation, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who complete these procedures but fail to board the flight. All costs for new round-trip flight tickets and transfers in the destination region required for those who miss the flight to join the tour are their own responsibility.
- Allowed: TURLAGO is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of September 28, 1955. There may be a risk of delay on scheduled and charter flights, or hours may change before the current trip and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of time changes by purchasing the trip. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport taxes and ground handling fees.
- Allowed: Vehicle types used in our tours are classified according to the number of people as follows. The vehicle types below are designated based on the number of participants in each tour.
