Daily Tour Program

  1. Day 1
    Upon our morning arrival in Thessaloniki, our panoramic city tour begins. First, we visit the Church of Saint Dimitrios, the largest church in Greece, followed by the house where the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was born and lived. Afterwards, we see the Hagia Sophia Church, Bey Hamam, Hamza Bey Mosque, Bedesten, White Tower, Rotunda, and the International

Tour Rules

  • Allowed: Our participating guests must have a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa for the entire duration of the tour. (Green passport holders are exempt from visa.)
  • Allowed: For shopping and spending in all countries included in the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In areas where local currency is used, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are recommended throughout the tour. It is also advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evenings.
  • Allowed: In our weekly tours, rotation (seat change) is applied daily in seat planning; no fixed seats or front seat guarantees are given. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: When entering Turkey from abroad, there is a minimum 1-night stay requirement to bring goods (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.).
  • Allowed: Duty-free shopping limits when entering Turkey: Cigarettes: 3 cartons; Alcoholic Beverages: 1 liter of spirits (over 22% alcohol, excluding wine and champagne); Alcoholic Beverages: 2 liters of alcoholic drinks (under 22% alcohol, including wine and champagne); Perfume: 600 ml; Makeup or Skin Care Products: 5 items; Chocolate and Candy: 2 kg; Coffee: 1 kg; Tea: 1 kg.
  • Allowed: Guides may change the order of the tour program based on weather and road conditions, provided that all specified locations are visited.
  • Allowed: The Travel Assurance Package can only be added during the tour purchase stage. It cannot be added later. It provides the guest with unconditional, no-penalty cancellation rights up to 7 days before the travel date. No refund if unused. If the cancellation insurance package is not purchased, guests have free cancellation rights up to 30 days before the tour. If cancellation occurs within less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty applies; if within 20 days or less, a 100% penalty applies. Documents such as hospital reports, work leave permits, etc., from authorities in Turkey are unfortunately not accepted for cancellations of hotel accommodations and services outside of Turkey.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved for the tour, the final cancellation notification date is 20 days before the tour start. If cancelled due to insufficient participation, TURLAGO will notify.
  • Allowed: If only category information is provided without naming the hotel(s) and/or alternative hotels are available for the same destination, TURLAGO will notify the hotel(s) 2 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances beyond the specified kilometers. In such a case, TURLAGO will inform 15 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability; the bed allocated to the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed + one extra bed. Since extra beds consist of foldaway and coach beds, the third participant and/or child in triple reservations is deemed to have accepted the potential crowding and bed type. Child discounts apply only to one child (within the age group) staying with two adults.
  • Allowed: Included breakfasts at the hotel are served according to the country's breakfast culture, typically as a continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated to the group.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are organized for general city introduction. They are conducted from within the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. Whether panoramic tours or other tours specified in the itinerary, TURLAGO is not responsible for cancellations due to closures by local authorities, road closures for events, or impossible weather conditions on the scheduled day and time. Some tours may be conducted via public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle entry is restricted.
  • Allowed: During the journey, waiting times at customs gates may exceed standard durations; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such waiting times.
  • Allowed: Optional tours are organized by the local TURLAGO service provider with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the tour cannot be held, or prices, content, and vehicles used may vary according to the number of participants. Additionally, the days and hours of tours may be altered by the guide depending on the open/closed status of museums and excavation sites, as well as weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Optional tours are voluntary and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to join optional tours are deemed to accept waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. These passengers will be dropped off at the rest stop before the optional tour begins and will be picked up from the same point after the tour concludes.
  • Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for flight-inclusive tours are personal responsibilities; guests must complete these at the airline counters at the airport before the flight or online via the airline's website.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for passengers who are not present at the specified airport at the times notified by TURLAGO, who fail to check in or board on time, or who check in but do not board the aircraft. All expenses for new flight tickets and transfers required for passengers who miss the flight to join the tour are their own responsibility.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There is a risk of delays in scheduled and charter flights, and the hours may change before the excursion and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger purchases the excursion accepting the risk of time changes. Children aged 0-2 do not pay airport tax and airport service fees.
  • Allowed: The vehicle types used in our tours are classified according to passenger numbers as follows. The vehicle types listed below are assigned based on the number of passengers in each tour.
