Tour Rules

• Allowed: General terms and conditions are an integral part of the tour program and cannot be considered separately.
• Allowed: If sufficient participation for the tour is not achieved; Turlago may cancel the tour up to 21 days before the departure date. In such a case, cancellation information is conveyed to the guest. The full tour fee is refunded to the guest. For the refund of additional services purchased outside the tour; if a domestic connecting flight was obtained from Turlago, it is also refunded to the guest. Visa services and travel health insurance, if a visa application has been made in the guest's name, these services are considered used and cannot be refunded; if no visa application has been made, both visa and travel health insurance are canceled and the fee is refunded. If the guest purchased the domestic connecting flight independently from a different provider other than Turlago, they cannot request any fee refund from Turlago in case of tour cancellation by Turlago. The guest accepts any financial and non-financial losses that may arise from tour cancellation at the time of purchase, and Turlago cannot be held responsible.
• Allowed: If sufficient participation for the tour is not achieved, Turlago, in good faith, reserves the right not to cancel the tour. In this case, as the tour will be provided individually for the guest, the included guide service will cover only the international departure and return transfer.
• Allowed: For cancellations made in writing to Turlago at least 30 days before the tour departure date, the package tour fee is refunded in full except for 10% of the amount. If the tour start date is less than 30 days away, you can cancel by paying 50% of the tour fee as a penalty; if 15 days or less remain, the entire tour fee is charged as a penalty. In case of cancellation, since refund conditions for additional services such as domestic connecting flights, visa services, and travel health insurance may vary depending on the cancellation period, advance inquiry is required. Turlago cannot make any commitment regarding the cancellation refund of additional services.
• Allowed: Extra tours are organized with a minimum participation of 20 people. If sufficient numbers are not met, tours may not take place, or extra tour prices and content may vary. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide depending on whether museums and archaeological sites at the destinations are open/closed or due to weather conditions. Different guides may accompany our guests during extra tours.
• Allowed: Vehicles allocated for extra tours are for the use of guests who purchase this extra tour.
• Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are tours organized for general city introduction, conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary, lasting a maximum of 2-3 hours, and do not include museum or archaeological site entrance fees. Turlago is not responsible if panoramic tours, including other specified tours, cannot take place at the scheduled day and time due to closures imposed by local authorities, restricted access, closed roads because of events, or weather conditions making the tour impossible. At certain points with closed roads or no vehicle entry, tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot when possible.
• Allowed: Our guide may make changes to the days of city tours and/or extra tours depending on the number of participants, the status of museums and archaeological sites being closed, while adhering to the content of our tours. This also applies in case of changes in flight times.
• Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours during the tour are deemed to have agreed to wait at a suitable rest facility along the route. These passengers are dropped off at the rest facility before the extra tour starts and are picked up from the same point after the tour ends. Any personal expenses during the waiting period are their own responsibility.
• Allowed: Turlago acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger. In case of potential disputes, besides the relevant provisions of Turkish legislation, the Hague Protocol and Warsaw Convention will apply.
• Allowed: On scheduled and charter flights, delays or flight time changes may occur. Turlago is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of flight time changes/cancellations when purchasing the trip.
• Allowed: Children aged 0-2 pay only the airport tax.
• Allowed: According to airline rules; if the outbound flight of a round-trip ticket is not used, the return flight will be canceled by the airline.
• Allowed: Check-in and boarding procedures for participants of flight-inclusive tours are personal procedures, and these procedures must be carried out by the guest at airports prior to the flight, at the relevant airline counters, or online via the airline's website.
• Allowed: Last-minute delays and gate changes that may occur on flights will be announced by loudspeaker at airports and displayed on information screens. This information must be personally monitored by guests.
• Allowed: Turlago is not responsible for guests who are not at the specified airport at the announced times in accordance with airline rules for participation in the tour, who do not check in or board on time, or who check in and board but fail to board the aircraft, resulting in missed flights. All expenses incurred for such guests, including the provision of new round-trip tickets necessary to join the tour and transfers at the destination, are their own responsibility.
• Allowed: The general baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and destination country. If the destination includes domestic flights, the baggage allowance may be reduced to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by the airlines and are not the responsibility of Turlago.
• Allowed: For guests wishing to upgrade their tickets (to business or first class) using miles; after tickets are issued, they can be upgraded depending on the airline's (check the airline where your membership is) availability. Mileage is not guaranteed for every flight. Check if the program tickets are in an upgradable class.
• Allowed: On some airlines, food, drink, and online check-in services may be subject to additional charges.
• Allowed: Turlago will not accept responsibility for any changes or cancellations made directly by the guest contacting the hotel. In such cases, Turlago's cancellation conditions will apply.
• Allowed: In cases where the tour program specifies only the category without the hotel name(s) and/or offers options for the same destination, the hotel will be communicated to the guest by Turlago 48 hours before the departure of the tour.
• Allowed: During special periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances beyond those specified in terms of location or kilometers. In such a situation, Turlago will provide information 15 days before the tour departure date.
• Allowed: At the time of registration for the purchased tour, the guest must correctly enter/declare the name as on passport, date of birth, and passport number into the system. Airline tickets are issued based on this information. The penalty for cancellation or changes to airline tickets due to incorrect information will be reflected to the guests.
• Allowed: To use your mobile phones abroad, before leaving Turkey, check with your mobile operator whether your phone is enabled for international use.
• Allowed: For accommodation, hotel check-in time is 15:00 and check-out time is 12:00.
• Allowed: Turlago communicates room-related requests (high floor, proximity to common areas, smoking/non-smoking, bed type) to the hotel. Efforts are made to allocate rooms according to guest preferences based on hotel availability. Fulfillment of these requests depends on availability at check-in and cannot be guaranteed by Turlago.
• Allowed: Breakfast served at hotels differs from the traditionally rich breakfast of Turkish cuisine. It is generally served as a continental breakfast with limited options including butter, jam, bread, tea or coffee, and may be served in a separate designated room for groups.
• Allowed: In some cases, instead of a twin room, there may be a double bed. Many European hotels offer rooms with two beds that can be combined when needed.
• Allowed: Child and extra bed policies may vary for each hotel and room type.
• Allowed: All additional beds and baby cots are provided upon request and subject to hotel availability, requiring hotel approval.
