Tour Rules

  • Allowed: For shopping and spending in all countries included in the program during the tour, having Euros is sufficient. In areas using local currency, the guide will assist with currency exchange.
  • Allowed: Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers should be worn during the trip. It is advisable to bring a cardigan or similar clothing for the evening.
  • Allowed: On our weekly tours, a rotation (seat change) practice is applied for seat planning on a daily basis, and no guarantee of fixed seats or front seats is provided. Seat changes are organized by the tour guide.
  • Allowed: - There is a requirement of at least 1 day of accommodation to bring items (alcohol, cigarettes, etc.) when entering Turkey from abroad.

  • Allowed: Our guests who register for the tour can cancel free of charge up to 30 days before departure. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the tour date, a 30% penalty is applied; less than 20 days, a 100% penalty. Documents such as hospital reports from Turkish authorities or work permits submitted with the cancellation request are unfortunately not accepted for the cancellation of hotels and services booked abroad.
  • Allowed: Our tour program is organized with a minimum participation of 25 people. If sufficient participation is not achieved, the final cancellation date is 20 days before the tour departure. In the event of cancellation due to insufficient participation, TURLAGO will notify you.
  • Allowed: If only category information is provided without specifying the hotel name and/or there are options for the same destination, the hotel(s) will be announced by TURLAGO 2 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: During fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be located at distances greater than the specified kilometers. In such cases, TURLAGO will provide information 15 days before the tour departure.
  • Allowed: Triple rooms are subject to availability, and the bed allocated for the third person in such rooms is smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of one large bed + one extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, the third participant and/or child reservations are deemed to accept potential cramped conditions and the bed type. Children's discounts apply to (age-eligible) children staying with two adults (one child).
  • Allowed: Among the included services, breakfasts at the hotel are served in line with the country's breakfast culture, typically as a continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be offered in a separate dining area allocated for the group.
  • Allowed: Panoramic city tours included in the tour package are 2-3 hour tours conducted from the vehicle with guide commentary for general city promotion, and do not include museum or archaeological site admissions. TURLAGO is not responsible if panoramic tours, including other stated tours, cannot be conducted due to closures by local authorities on the scheduled day and time, road closures due to events, or weather conditions. Some tours may be conducted by public transport or on foot where roads are closed or vehicle access is not allowed, depending on feasibility.
  • Allowed: During travel, waiting times at land border crossings may exceed standards; TURLAGO cannot be held responsible for any inconveniences arising from such waiting times.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are organized by our local service providers (TURLAGO) with a minimum participation of 20 people. If the required number is not met, the tours may be cancelled, or extra tour prices, content, and vehicles may vary based on the number of participants. Additionally, the days and times of tours may be changed by the guide depending on museum and archaeological site opening/closing hours and weather conditions.
  • Allowed: Extra tours are optional and not mandatory. Passengers who do not wish to participate in extra tours are deemed to accept waiting at a suitable rest stop along the route. Such passengers will be dropped off at a rest stop before the extra tour begins and will be picked up from the same point after the tour ends. - For participants in tours including flights, check-in and boarding procedures are personal responsibilities and must be completed by the guest at the relevant airline counters at the airport or online via the airline's website before the flight.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is not responsible for individuals who are not present at the specified airport at the times communicated by TURLAGO, who do not complete check-in and boarding procedures on time, or who do not board the flight even if they completed the procedures. All costs for new round-trip airline tickets and transfers to join the tour for those who miss the flight are borne by the individuals themselves.
  • Allowed: TURLAGO is an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. Scheduled and charter flights may have a risk of delay, or times may change before the tour and flight. TURLAGO is obliged to notify these changes as soon as possible. The passenger accepts the risk of time changes when purchasing the tour. Children aged 0-2 are exempt from paying airport tax and airport service fees.
  • Allowed: Vehicle types used in our tours are classified according to the number of passengers as follows. Based on the number of passengers on each tour, the following vehicle types are assigned.
